Taylor Janney-Rovin is a Queens-based singer-songwriter who blends her Americana roots with a love of pop, rock, and musical theater. A child of the ’90s, she idolized Shania Twain and Celine Dion, with a CD collection that ranged from Patsy Cline to the Spice Girls, Trisha Yearwood to Britney Spears.

Drawn to the spotlight from a young age, she earned her BFA in Musical Theater from Syracuse University and toured the country performing children’s theater—before putting her passions aside to serve as a New York City middle school teacher. But after years of encouraging her students to take risks and put themselves out there, she realized it was time to do the same.
