You can take the girl out of the country, but Taylor Janney-Rovin is here to prove that you can’t take the country out of the girl in her debut cabaret. Backed by the Nashville/New York duo Brighthold (Carly Blane and Ryan Citrino), Taylor recounts her experience growing up in a small town, chasing Broadway dreams, facing the harsh realities of adulthood, and having to pivot to a career in education before taking a big risk by quitting her teaching job to stand center stage once again. Featuring a female driven setlist including songs by The Chicks, Maren Morris, Miranda Lambert, and Kacey Musgraves, Taylor Janney-Rovin delivers soulful renditions of her favorite country hits to remind us that home is where your art is. A celebration of Taylor's milestone 10 year anniversary living in NYC, “You Can Take the Girl…” was recorded live at QED Astoria in January 2024, and is a heartfelt hootenanny you won’t want to miss!
